POS Addendum
Terms specific to DigitGlance POS and related retail modules.
1. Scope
This Addendum covers the use of DigitGlance POS, including offline sales, inventory, branches, customer data, hardware, and payment integration.
2. Customer responsibility
The customer is responsible for:
- product setup
- stock count accuracy
- pricing accuracy
- branch configuration
- cashier permissions
- device security
- daily reconciliation
- proper use of barcode data
3. Hardware and compatibility
Any printer, scanner, tablet, terminal, cash drawer, or other hardware must be tested before deployment.
DigitGlance is not responsible for failure caused by unsupported hardware or incorrect configuration.
4. Offline mode
Where offline mode is available, the customer understands that:
- data may sync later when internet access returns
- local device storage must be protected
- manual review may be needed after sync
- some features may require internet access
5. Inventory
The customer is responsible for reviewing inventory movements, stock adjustments, transfers, and purchase entries before closing periods.
6. Payments
Payment gateway availability depends on the selected provider.
Fees charged by payment providers are separate from DigitGlance fees.
7. Reports
Reports are provided for operational and accounting support.
The customer remains responsible for checking report accuracy before relying on them for tax, audit, or management decisions.
8. Support and setup
Installation, migration, branch setup, receipt customisation, and staff training may be charged separately where stated in the pricing model.
